One group,
many responsibilities

Ethos places the utmost importance on its own social and environmental concerns.

Conscious of its responsibilities, Ethos aims to lead by example by applying the best ESG practices that it advocates to listed companies.

At a time when sustainability reports are becoming mandatory for large listed companies in Europe and Switzerland, Ethos Services has decided voluntarily to prepare and publish a sustainability report in accordance with recognised reporting standards.

Ethos chose the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards and incorporated them for the first time in its 2024 annual report. In line with these standards, Ethos conducted an in-depth analysis of its material issues, ranking them according to their importance.

The material issues considered when evaluating Ethos Services were:

  • the materiality of the risks for the company;

  • the ESG themes covered by Ethos' services;

  • a comparison with other players in the same sector;

  • the results of a survey conducted among Ethos' stakeholders.

An important distinction was made regarding how to report on the activities of Ethos Services and their impact. Due to its mission to promote socially responsible investment, most of the material topics defined by the GRI standard could indeed apply to Ethos Services.

However, two distinct categories emerge:

  • Topics directly related to the operations of Ethos Services, for which specific policies have been implemented and for which data is available and disclosed.

  • Topics covered by the services provided by Ethos Services, where the organisation has an indirect impact. These topics are addressed in the report where data is available.

Description of the material issues, their scope, impact and level of importance follow below.
